Want a down payment for a new car, or to take that trip to Paris but don´t have the cash? Start saving right now. Today. Figure out what 10% of your net salary is (remember, net is what you see on your check!)and sock it away in your savings. Do it every time you get paid. Or, set up a payroll deduction to make sure that it´s going straight to a credit union account. This is separate and in addition to any 401K accounts! This 10% is your money for special projects or emergencies so you don´t have to rely on credit cards or loans for the things you know you want! Don´t pay THE MAN, pay yourself FIRST!
