Take Time After the First Date

On a first date have a plan for the initial meeting and stick to it. Even if he seems like the guy of your dreams don't spend more time with him until the second date. Especially, do not sleep with a guy you are just meeting for the first time.

For your own safety you need to be sure he isn't going to become a possessive nightmare.For your emotional health don't be loved and left. If you wanted a quickie you wouldn't have called it a date.

Also, give yourself that chance to reflect on how the date went, who he turned out to be and decide if you really do want to get closer to him. Sometimes that time apart, away from temptation, is a really good thing.
